Hi all,

I tried to determine gypsum in soil through water evaporation. in the interval 40°C - 100°C the result is 83%, in the interval 70-100°C the result is 53%. How to interpret it? I did the test with the same sample: i) heated on 40°C, ii) heated on 70°C, iii) heated on 104°C.

I would believe that this soil could contain 83% of gypsum. Does somebody have experience with this Artieda method?
