If your question is about isolation medias then the answer is yes, but if you subculture these isolates onto rich medium then they will grow well.

Thanks very much Abdulhadi for the answer. What I am asking is one of the characteristic of actinomycetes is that they grow partially sub-merged in agar. Do all of them grow as such?
