To understand the quality of groundwater of an area, we generally measure the various parameters like physicochemical, microbiological, trace metals, pesticides etc. The selection of parameters usually depends on the study area location, its geology, anthropogenic activities etc.
Now, after analysis we found that some parameters such as TDS, hardness, Cl, NO3, Fe, Mn, F, and Coliform bacteria are above the permissible limit at some sites of the study area. If a groundwater quality map/quality zoning map is prepared, it would be of immense useful for groundwater management for drinking/domestic uses.
In ArcGIS platform, how this map can be prepared? We like to know the step by step detailed methodology.
