CVD graphene can easily tear and in mechanical exfoliation few micrometer size flakes are formed due to the mechanical tearing from the bulk graphite. what is the reason for this?
It depends of geometrical distribution of carbon aton on space. Even carbon nanotubes is strong material according atomic force microscope. However still many work to do.
