I did an experiment of making functionalized graphene oxide and dried it in a vacuum oven, and ground f-GO using mortar and pestle.

After that, I will make two types of nanocomposites (Polymer/GO & Polymer/f-GO) and

compare the properties of two composites. (TGA, DSC, DMA,etc.)

My question is, no matter how much I reduce the particle size of f-GO by using mortar and pestle, it is still larger than that of GO.

If I make Polymer/GO 0.1wt% and Polymer/f-GO 0.1wt%, is it okay to compare their properties at the same concentration although GO and f-GO have different particle sizes?

I need your advice.

Thank you :)
