We performed pyrolysis of sewage sludge with and without catalysts in a FBP. The catalysts CaO showed an extensive sets of peaks for both temperatures (650 and 850). I looked for this peak but couldn't find the relevant functional group corresponding to this particular peak. 3200-2500 shows alcohol and 2700-2250 shows amines, but none of their peak intensities matches the spectra. Later i thought it might be due to CaO and the peak might be an indication of CaO or some related functional groups, but i have doubts about it. I couldn't find the proper reference as well to support my speculations.
It's more like the spectrum of calcium carbonate (with an admixture of calcium hydroxide) or limestone. A weak absorption band at 2514 cm-1 is evidenced this (https://webbook.nist.gov/cgi/cbook.cgi?ID=B6004659&Mask=80).
