Hello guys,

currently i am doing a project on antibacterial effects of Pandanus amaryfollious (leafy parts) and Cucurma caesia (Legume parts). I have both aqueous and organic extracts of the plant sample. Both samples are now are in liquid state.

[The organic extracts were treated under rotary evaporator to remove the organic solvent (Choloroform:Methanol)]

However, I am trying to remove the moisture or water content using freezer dryer, but this consume a lots of time and seems like not feasible to me.

I am planning to use vacuum filtration where i crystallized some of the extract, then treat it under dissication method where the water will be absorb by the absorbing agent, leaving a dry crystal or powder.

Is this okay?

Thank You.
