My lab use HPLC nanospace SI-2(Shiseido) with LCQ daca XP MS(thermo). HPLC and MS was operated by Xcalibur software, and data also obtained. But, It is kind of limited to using only HPLC. I’d like to use only HPLC, so, I’ve asked to shiseido seller to buy new software to using only HPLC. He said to me ‘you have to buy new software, and it cose almost $8,000. It is kind of expensive in my case. Moreover, recently PC is not working anymore..........
I’ve tried to find alternative way to use it for free or low cost. The shiseido web site may present it will possible to use other software like (S-MC, OpenLAB EZChrom, Xcalibur, and Analyst)

Anyway, it there free HPLC software (control and data aqusition) to use it for free? I’m using Shiseido Nanospace SI-2(pump, dual pump, auto injection, oven, uv/vis detector) Thank you.
Free? I doubt it. It costs a lot of money and time to develop HPLC software.
I see OpenLAB EZChrom shows compatibility with your HPLC. Many vendors offer deeply discounted software to academic users. Have you inquired about this?
As an alternative, if your detector has an analog output, then you could connect up one of many types of low cost 20 bit, 2 channel A/D systems (for PC) to acquire data (try a web search to find many examples). That would at least allow you to use the HPLC system in manual mode as a standalone system.
