There is 30 days full version available on internet with full feature. You can work within 30 days by using it.

If you want just to use the PLS methodology with no need to pay for a license, you can use cran R project or octave. Otherwise, you can just look for a trial version of any available PLS software

It is easy, please follow the instructions below:

1- Download and install the trial version of Smart-PLS from the official website.

2- download the RunAsDate software from

https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/run_as_date.html

3- Run the RunAsDate and follow the on-screen instructions. Please select a date within the month of trial.

4- Enjoy a life-time licence of Smart-PLS 3.

NOTE: After the trial one month, turn off the internet connection before starting the SMART-PLS and you can reconnect after it starts.

As miguel Gonçalves said, there are many other ways to use the PLS method... Try this software that has a free version for students, in which you can do many multivariate analyses, like PLS, very simply. It is called Infostat and it is an Argentinean software, which has an english version available. You can download it from

www.infostat.com.ar

What is interesting is that you don't need any programming knowledge to use it!
