My understanding is that adding Solution A into Solution B (e.g. Oil phase into Water or vice-versa) should be added drop-wise in order to maximize surface area of Solution A to provide smaller diameter.

However, I find dropwise method to be - other than tedious - quite inconsistent as I cannot produce similar volume of droplet consistently when performed manually which I need to due to lack of instrument.

I was wondering if instead of adding dropwise, will stirring suffice (let's say 500 rpm)?
