For how many days in a row can sucrose preference test data be taken?

If a daily sucrose preference test is applied to rodents in consecutive days, how long can the data be meaningful (when does sucrose become not rewarding at all). I was searching the literature for a similar protocol in SPT but I couldn't find one? If there is a publication you know about that, I would be grateful if you share it?
