Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me find a solution.  I have collected a large data set (using undergrads) of a new measure of dimensions of psychological problems. Presumably, there are a number of factors in there-- depression, anxiety, and so on-- but when I run a factor analysis or PCA (using SPSS), I just get one big factor.

So my question is-- given the fact that there is one big factor here, how do I get at the sub-factors that are most certainly there?
