Greetings all!
I've done many experiments on recording fEPSP in rat hippocampal slices using exctacellular microelectrodes and I noticed that in my case fEPSP always have slow positive overshoot over baseline. Similar fEPSP could be found in other works (see attached fig1 and fig2 as example). But shape of fEPSP found in other works is different in that they haven't this positive fEPSP overshoot over baseline (see attached fig3 and fig4). What is the probable cause of differences in the fEPSP shape?
