i'm trying to build up a heat transfer simulation with time dependent added elements. therefore i used the material activation methode, which is described here:

i defined the Parameter "Tbau=5,9s" which is the deposition time between each layer and put the activation expression "Tbau

did you selected the proper filter (e.g. solid.isactive) in the filter option?
Hi Luigi, thanks for your reply. yes, i used the Filter "solid.isactive". I see the same temperature profiles with or without the filter. the only difference with the filter is, that the inactive elements are not shown before the activation term is true. (t=6 s in this case for the second layer for instance)
need to be careful with contact properties and multiphysics situation
