I do my PCR almost every workday, but last few times gave me faint bands of internal control + positive control. I didn't change anything. Where is the problem? I don't think there is a problem with polymerase - I used "old" one and "new" one - no difference.
Is there something wrong with gel? Ethidium bromide - is it possible it has expired?I have no idea!
Last few days were very, very hot in our country, can this be a reason? Should I decrease annealling temperature? Or maybe should I add more EtBr to gel?

I have got faint band previously, I tried to increase PCR cycle numbers. I increase cycle no from 35 to 39, and tried with one faint sample and got clear band when increase Cycle. also, I didnt change other PCR conditions. so, you can give a try.
Thanks guys, I added 3,5 ul of EtBr (previously I added only 2,5 ul) - it worked!
