i am trying to isolate bacterial DNA from honey. i used food and feed kit and i didnt get any results. Also i used the wizard method from promega and my extraction for 50gr of honey was too low.
do you have any suggestions or any other methods that i can use?

Hello 0.22 nm also ok only thing dilute well and do not harry and don't use over-vacuum which can damage filter.
Hello, you can dilute your honey in sterile water and use membrane filtration method with 0.45nm filter. You can filtrate big amount of liquid to get microorganisms in filter. Then you can put on nutrient media to grow microorganisms and than isolate DNA. But if you looking for total microbiota including non cultuvable forms you can directly use filter after filtration and grinding it as source for DNA isolation.
