Which they consider to be the best way to express an asymmetric uncertainty of measurement (obtained by the MCM) in a paper. I also appreciate if you know and can mention any reference document that formally establishes this matter since JCGM 100 nor 101 does not address the topic.
In my opinion, I would inform the result as a mode and the expanded uncertainty as an interval. For example, being "x" the unit and "X" the measurand I would say: X has got a Mode of 18,7x with and U95 = [18,5 x , 19,6 x] or shorter X = 18,7x [18,5x, 19,6x]. I would like to know opinion from different expertise areas. Thanks a lot.
