I'm writing a paper for a company where a lot of people have no experience with regression analyses, let alone logistic regressions with multiple variables.
I do have some examples in more academic-style papers, but I'm struggling a bit on how to write this chapter so that a layperson could easily follow along as well. Just throwing around terms like 'logit' and 'odds ratio' isn't very beginner-friendly, but an explanation that's too long will probably just be skipped. So does anybody have an example of a paper that handles this well?
Edit: 'multivariate logistic regression analysis with a binary independent variable' not 'multivariate binary logistic regression analysis'
multivariate and binary are contradictive. both refer to the DV. You might look at the attached notes. Best, David Booth

In a paper back in 2003 Mark de Rooij and I have made an attempt to sketch examples of multinomial logistic regression. Multivariate Behavioral Research, 38 (4), 463-504. Multivariate Multinomial Logit Models for Dyadic Sequential Interaction Data. There is a lot of technical stuff in the paper, but if you concentrate on the explanation of the main example, you might distill the kind of information that might be helpful in explaining the technique to less statistically agile people. Having said this, you undoubtedly realise that complicated situations often require complicated explanations (quid pro quo). Voor niets gaat de zon op.
