Evolution of SDV(Software Defined Vehicles) is facing huge burns due to various critical challenges.

One of the challenge is slow pace of standardization which is blocking the collaborative space to come-up with innovative solutions for various common problems.

E.g. AUTOSAR, COVESA, SOAFEE, S-Core and various others are trying to evolve in silos with various redundant activities. On the collaboration, these forums have symbolical exchange of information.

This is helping tools/solution vendors majorly rather bigger ecosystems who wants to be part of this journey.

Here, OEMs are more dependent on few suppliers although pool of innovative suppliers are available.

The bottleneck is supplier who developed the good base with the help of these forums are blocking the standardization smartly to enable their business case with unique solution rather participating in competition.

This kind of approach is slowing down the entire process.

Therefore, the question is, what is the way ahead here? More transparent collaboration between forums? more transparent approach towards standardization? or something else which can help in the evolution pace of standardization.
