Every Other One Standard Curve In Absolute qPCR

I am going to run a qPCR assay for the absolute module. I am not sure about something actually. Based on the common protocols, there should be 5 dilution points of standard curve, but I have it from 10^1 to 10^10, ten points. I would like to run it every other one (10^1, 10^3, 10^5, 10^7, 10^9). Is the method correct technically?

Please give an explanation on it.
