Values obtained for Evenness of the species distribution, relative abundance of species diversity, and the species richness of a number of identified timber tree species of a forgotten forest for biodiversity estimation applying Shannon-Wiener Index and computing by Excel's data analysis tool show almost the same, only the species richness index is different, then it's my query, parameters like Evenness of the species distribution, relative abundance of species diversity, and the species richness, are these same in the context of forest ecology?
No they aren't.
Relative abundance is a measure of abundance of a species compared to other species in a site. Eveness is the measure of how relative abundance is distributed amongst the species of that site, and richness is the number of the species that exist in that site.

I think all of these are not same. Therefore these can be calculated in different ways and followings may be followed......
The relative abundance (RA), relative density (RD), relative frequency (RF), and Important Value Index (IVI) can be calculated by (Dogra et al., 2009); (Nebel et al., 2001) and (Shukla R.S. and Chandal P.S, 2000). Family relative density (FRD) and family relative diversity (FRDI) can be calculated by (Rahman et al., 2011).
