Greeting. I am a psychology student. May I know is there any cases related to ethical issue when conducting an internet survey? How can privacy and confidentiality of participants of survey be related to internet psychological services?

The first and foremost requirement of any survey is non disclosure of private / confidantial info of the respondants. Actually, it is much better if private info are not asked at all. For example, asking names, mob/ ph numbers/ addresses should be avoided. Instead of asking an user his/ her income / salary pm, Birthday/ age it is better to ask to which income / age group one follows ( 10-20,21-30, 31-40 . .).
You need to mention the need of conducting the survey and how would it help the society psychologically. If the objectives are convincing to the participants they would definitely give their honest inputs.
