Is there an improved technique to estimate the average reservoir pressure (and flowing bottom hole pressure) associated with a CBM reservoir under a significant matrix shrinkage effect resulting from the coupled effect of (a) matrix shrinkage resulting from the desorption of gas from coal matrix; and (b) matrix shrinkage resulting from over-burden stress?
Is there a window where both (a) and (b) could get nullified - resulting from the simultaneous effect of (b) permeability reduction resulting from enhanced effective stress; and (a) enhanced permeability resulting from the matrix shrinkage?
Whether “cleat porosity” and “cleat permeability” are the ONLY dominant/key/sensitive parameters in driving the CBM production from wells at later stages associated with the multi-phase fluid flow?
