Hello,

I am trying to find some literature about protein translocation from the Endoplasmic reticulum to the nucleus but I am unable to find it. The literature mostly points to exocytosis or misfolded protein degradation in lysosomes for proteins exiting ER.

I was able to find a few papers that describe how EGFR and ERBB3 transport to the nucleus using endocytosis as a reverse mechanism of entry and after merging with ER these transmembrane proteins travel across the ER-nucleus membrane until they reach the nuclear pore and enter. This is the closest thing I found to my query.

I'm trying to understand how my ER-bound protein and its 3 interactors (also in ER) enter the nucleus.

If someone has experience and knowledge about this topic can you please help me with finding literature and understanding the problem I'm facing?
