Enhanced culture assay vs Viral outgrowth assay?

Dear all,

This is a very specific question for the HIV biologists.

Are the 'enhanced viral culture assay' and 'viral outgrowth assay' to purge latent virus synonymous? Or are they two different techniques? Can some one provide me with suitable articles with technical details of the two?
