Any studies conducted on emission standard from waste incinerators within and across continent?
The emission standards from incineration plant of solid waste depend on:
1) type of solid waste incinerated by the plant
2) Country regulations.
Thus, I am afraid there's emission standards for a a continent.
I would suggest that you search on the websites of environmental protection agency (EPA) of different countries.
Is really very difficult to find such kind of research because despite the standards, must continents doesn't care much about pollution with exception of Europe and US. Although in each continent, there are so many articles related to emission standards in terms of waste incineration.
Since the standards vary from country to country and from continent to continent, I suggest you make a good literature survey on the topic across the scholarly search engines.
