How to do electro polymerization on graphite sheet of pyrrole in aqueous solution. Mention electrolyte use, method, charge and potential. Which method is appropriate CV, chrono potentiometer, chronoamperometry
For pyrrole polymerization in aqueous solution I don't have an answer. But in organic medium I suggest for you this formulation: 0.1 M pyrrole dissolved in 5 mL acetonitrile as solvent and 0.17 g tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) as the supporting salt. You can use galvanosatic method by applying a constant current. In such a way, you can control the thikness of your film: As reported in the literature, a charge density of 500 mC/cm2 corresponds to a film thickness of 1 micron.
