Economic growth comes from education but should never be education's sole purpose. Economic growth should be tempered with the well-being of all the members of the society and the sustainability of all systems within an environment. If these two are supported then economic growth will happen. However, we often see a lack of understanding that these are important and economically you end up paying far more to deal with the consequences of these.
