Dynabeads are washed with 0.1%bsa/pbs solution during MeDIP experiments; what is the purpose of using pbs-bsa solution during washing step?

I am guessing that the Dynabeads are being used to recognize an antigen (primary antibody), so wash with PBS/BSA is used to avoid non-specific binding of the antigen-antibody reaction, thus eliminating the collection of unwanted molecules.
