As it is clear from the topic, Literature Review in research is a very perceptive re-view of the existing content or available data which is based on the already written or explored research work. As it makes the research question valid and also helps in doing the gap-analysis for your research objective/ research question, it is always advisable to endorse your own take on the data and to do that we need to assess the author's claim with our own reason and evidence as a researcher.
I think when we write literature review we often use quotes or the ideas of the author who support it. So we need to acknowledge the author.And also put our own perception about the work through some concrete reasons while assessing the author.
This issue has to do with showing the researcher's ability to add and bypass the stages of transmission and quotation, a step that the supervising professor can evaluate.
