Hello! I have conducted a series of experiments for drug binding of a certain compound to HSA (serum albumin) such as fluorescence, UV-Vis, etc. Is it alright to publish my results without an FT-IR? Unfortunately, we do not have an FT-IR in our custody capable of measuring protein solutions (aqueous).
Is it okay to publish my results without FT-IR data? Will my data be unreliable without the FT-IR or the fluorescence and UV-Vis data enough to publish my results?

In my opinion, fluorescence data and UV-VIS data would be sufficient, as long as you have been careful to control for interfering factors, such as non-specific binding and inner filter effect, the reproducibility of the data is adequate, and positive control compounds produced the expected results.
Hello Mr Shapiro, when we did the fluorescence experiments, we obtained highly linear Stern-Volmer Plots. We also did a molecular docking analysis with AutoDock Vina and we have calculated that the drug truly binds at Site I in close proximity with Trp-214 to account for the fluorescence quenching we have observed.
