We have some data relating winter wheat yields with weather conditions in 5-year period. The analysis indicates, that a shorter drought periods, defined by the values of climatic water balance (Rainfall-Evapotranspiration) , up to about 10-15 days may increase wheat yields, and a clear negative effect of drought begins from 15-20 day of drought duration.

Do you know any studies on effects of drought duration on wheat, or other cereal, yields?
