In my view, there are a very huge difference between "to listen Elegy by Rachmaninov, Allegretto (7th symphony of Beethoven) or "Lacrimosa" (Mozart requem) from TV, Radio or Computer" and "to perform these brilliant compositions myself on the piano". To as me, when I perform "Elegy" by Rachmaninov on the piano I want more and more to live. When I perform Allegretto (7th symphony of Beethoven) in Franz Listz's Transcription for Piano I want more and more to live. When I perform "Lacrimosa" (Mozart requem) in Karl Klindworth Transcription for Piano I want more and more to live. This also applies to any masterpiece arranged for piano.

It is hard to compare feelings of different people listening music. My question was about some objectivity in music. Could we find it? What does music mean? What is a minor tonality? Is it really some reflection of real moods or it is our convention? The funeral march by Shopin is convention? It is of course sudden music but if people did not say you before listening that it is funeral march you can imagine whenever you want. What is a degree of certainty in music? Or it is my fantasy, music is very multifaceted and multivalued?
