I am making Kreb's Ringer solution which consists of water, several salts, and BSA, and before I add the BSA I want to make the solution sterile. Will filtration remove the salts I currently have in solution or no?
No.
Sterile filtration probably uses ultrafiltration or tight microfiltration membranes. Those don´t remove salts.
No it will not remove salts - also you probably want to add the BSA BEFORE filtration to maintain the sterility of your medium.
