Yes. I would. My research involves wanting to understand particular attitudes towards interracial dating. Specifically, because hegemonic beliefs have been socially constructed and taught to people in our society, it ultimately affects the dating experiences of certain racial-ethnic or minority groups, such as African American. I want to know what are the particular attitudes towards dating someone of color. Is it fear of shame by a members dominant or subordinate group, or could it be prejudices taught that consider a specific group undesirable.
Yes. Both fears of shame and socio-cultural prejudices play major roles in interracial dating. Yet people have many other factors like safety and security or opportunities (both physical and financial) are also related factors that arise in interracial datings.
