We obtained the cells from them, its the same cell line that Massagué's Group used in Nature 2009 paper (Bos et al., 2009). The price is $ 300 for shipping to the USA, I dont know how much it will cost for international shipping.
I have worked extensively with the Yoneda et al. (2001) line from UT San Antonio which we have validated in vivo. Contact info: Dr. Toshiyuki Yoneda, The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Department of Medicine, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Mailing Code: 7877, 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229-3900, USA
This is Laura Campos here from the Antibody & Bioresource Core Facility (formerly the Monoclonal Antibody Core Facility). I'd like to clarify the procedure for requesting cell lines that MSK researchers have deposited with our facility.
Email the researcher directly to request permission to get the cells; you can search our institutional website mskcc.org for their contact information.
Include in the subject line the specific cell line name, your lab head's surname, and your institutional name (e.g. XYZcl Request - Cognomen Lab / Universitatis Scientiae);
Include the following information in your communiqué:
Your Principal Investigator’s full name, institutional name, email address, telephone number;
Your full name and institutional email address, telephone number;
A brief scientific statement as to how you would like to use the cells;
How many vials of each cell line you would like to receive (cost applies).
She/He will copy us on his positive/affirmative response.
We’ll then reply your email with order fulfillment requirement details but this will allow us to jump-start the process with entering the Material Transfer Agreement.
Best regards,
Laura Campos
