I am planning to use the Mobio Power Water RNA Extraction Kit (50) and am inquiring about the probable effects with a sample that has been through the RNEasy Protect Kit. The RNEasy protect kit is for RNA stabilization, protection and purification. Using the kit resulted in my sample resting in the kits reagent. Will mixing the Power Water Kits PM1 solution and my sample in the RNEasy reagent negatively affect my RNA yield?

Thank you for the responses and resources. I did go through with extraction using the RNA kit and waiting to use the elusion that I collected at the end. Upon deeper investigation, it appears that the it is "compatible" with the RNA Protect reagent.
