Do PEDOT:PSS thin films need a period of "rest" under RTP even after it has cooled down from the annealing or drying process at 120-150 degrees?

If you want to make organic electronic devices, the PEDOT:PSS films should be put into a glovebox after annealing. If the films stay in the air, they would absorb moisture which is detrimental to devices.

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood the question. I guess I should have elaborated. I understand the need for keeping the devices away from moisture. But during my tests I have observed that even after cooling to room temperature after annealing, the characteristics of the thin film (conductivity etc.) seem to be in flux. My question was whether this behaviour is a known property of PEDOT:PSS. And whether there is more data available on the topic?

There are intensive research for PEDOT:PSS within the organic electronics R&D industries or associated industries or research institutes in the last three decades. You may be able to find the data what you mentioned from conference journals such as SPIE series related to organic electronics topics or synthetic metals (ICSM conferences). The properties what you mentioned are known. There are different explanations such as polymer chain relaxation and others. Please be aware of that there are so many factors which could affect the PEDOT:PSS films such as their solution formulation, batch to Bach variations (polymer molecular weight and chain length), and post treatment difference after films are formed.
As research goes, you could focus on what you discovered and do systematic studies on it and learn what the knowledge is behind.
