Recently i found on eviews website what jarque-bera normality test formula is used to test the data, and i found that the sum of squared error formula is sigma(xi - xbar)^2 to calculate the expected skewness and kurtosis. Does it use the same formula on panel data to calculate the squared error ? Or does it change the formula becomes sigma(xij - xbarj)^2 which j means the number of cross sectional data ? Is it okay to use the (xi - xbar)^2 on FEM model ? because as far as i remember, we use FEM model because we know every observation has different intercept
