When I run my confirmatory factor analysis model in amos one of the error term has a negative variance.Is this a heywood case?

Ceren,

this does sound like a Heywood case.

Aside from checking if there is any accidental misspecification in the model, your can try providing starting values for estimation. I am not sure if this is possible in AMOS, however.
