MAXQDA can be used for coding text extracts from manuscripts.
Can it also be used to create the matrices that are used within the Framework Method, where one would want to have matrices that show 'who said what about what'? E.g. with interviewees in a left hand column and with the labels in a row, so that each cell has bits of text showing what each interviewee said that falls within each label.

If I understood your question correctly, I would say that it is possible. By using "Visual Tools - Code Matrix Brower", you can have an overview of what each respondent said about a specific code. You will have each code and interview displayed in a matrix (columns/rows). From there, you can then click and see which specific segments (textual data) of each interviewee were coded in that theme (Interactive Quote Matrix).
