Thank you for asking such an important question. Honestly, yes, I believe that love-based pedagogy does exist in higher education, even if it’s not always called that. It simply means that teachers care deeply about their students’ growth, treat them with respect, and try to build a real connection based on trust and understanding.

We can see this kind of approach in:

• Classrooms where students feel safe to express themselves.
• Professors who listen and support students beyond academics.
• A focus on kindness, empathy, and human values in teaching.
• Creating a space where every student feels seen and valued.

Of course, there are challenges like large class sizes or academic pressure, but many educators are trying to make learning more human and meaningful.
