Implicit learning of a skill is usually acquired spontaneously and at the subconscious level. An example is the process of learning how to drive which also takes place in concert with practice - learning happens while action is being performed. Similarly, we may be subconsciously processing the knowledge and syntax of a new language while listening to others' conversations, e.g. a child listening to his parents talking. Following, our learning is taken to the next level when we begin our first utterance and speech of that language - the practising stage. So based on such considerations, does language learning qualify as being implicit?
Ellis (1994) lists some characteristics of what he calls implicit learning: easily accessible (in psychology this is the hallmark of automatic processing), unanalyzed (memory-based rather than rule based), abstract and structured, can be consciously analyzed (and thus become explicit rules of the language), occur closely adhering to natural language behaviour. therefore, language learning can lead to implicit learning if it is automatized, comprehensible and natural-like
Implicit learning requires consciousness, too. The term implicit learning can be misleading. It does not mean learning without consciousness. Rather, implicit learning involves conscious input, leading to implicit (unconscious) inferences that are learned, along with the conscious aspects of the task.

Thanks! Yes, I do agree now that a certain degree of explicit learning is involved in combination with the implicitness, though I would suggest they vary in proportion at different stages or time-points of the learning process.
I think so, many English verbs often have a great deal of similarity in the surface of conceptual understanding, but they show quite different contexts so that they often coincide in one point of everyday language, but beyond that they also have a more specific meaning, clearly distinguishing them from each other.
