Thank you for short, clear answer and documents attached. The event of this question that I was a reviewer and brought to me work involved 9 hedonic test. Unfortunately the manuscript involved experts in food evaluation as panelists, I wrote back to the editor to clear up that test should be repeated with non experience panelists. For a second time the work returned to me and authors ignored my comments so I did that again asking them to repeat the 9 hedonic with no experience panelists, unfortunately I have not received any news about the status of the manuscript. Hedonic scales are used by more untrained panelists, as educated panelists like or prefer to respond correctly without careful attention. Thus, 9 point bipolar category scales are more appropriate for trained panelists.
