I am working with chelex 100 to remove the Fe3+ ions in my media to have it iron free.
According to the instruction paper I've got when I bought Chelex 100, it says the chelex 100 should be stored in a sodium form in a closed container.
I understand all the CIP procedures and I had the chelex in a sodium form in my open column with water.
I wonder whether it should be stored with water in a container or I can decant the water out and leave the chelex by itself as it was shipped (it did not contain water when I opened the bottle).
Thank you.
