Hi, I have IL9R KO mice and I have to check WBC chimerism in BALBc Mice (donor and recipient). I heard CD45.1/CD45.2 doesn't work on BalbC mice. Can you suggest any other marker to distinguish donor and recipient WBC in BalbC mice? Thanks.
Hi Astute,
you need check if your donor are Thy1.1 (+/+) and your recipient are Thy1.2 (+/+). Than you can work with CD45.1/CD45.2 on BalbC mice.
best
CD90.1/90.2 as long as you have the CD90.1 congenic strain for donor. WT should be 90.2. BALB/c 90.1 available form JAX.
Can you explain why cd45.1/2 doesn’t work on balbc please?
