Hi;
The nature of my topic requires merging two data sets in order to explore my research questions. I do generally understand that both data sets have to be identical to merge, because SPSS will automatically drop non-identical cases. I did recode my key variable (European regions in NUTS) in the main dataset, but do I have to repeat the same for my second dataset before merging? Any reference added will be of great help too. Thanks advance!
