Im trying to assay GST activity in milk, but I cant find the optimus final concentrations of CDNB and GSH for this matrix. Does anyone knows wich contentrations are the better?
I suggest to use affinity chromatography using glutathione linked sepharose to purified and test the presence of GST in your milk sample . GST has been reported and purified from bovine milk . you can look at my RG for detail procedures for purification of GST from different sources
As far as the possible presence of GST in milk, i have concluded that it is absent or below the detection limit of the usual spectrophotometric assay.
