Try using the nucellar sporophytic tissue of the chickpea floral part of the plant instead of the seed germplasm which might be already internally infected

Dear, Two options:

1. Use gas sterilization instead of liquid disinfectants:

Seed sterilization:

 i. Select healthy seeds. Place seeds in sterile petri plates (in a single layer). Place plates in a desiccator within a fume hood.

ii. Fill a 250 ml beaker with 100 ml of Clorox in the desiccator.

iii. Add 4-5 mL of concentrated (12 N) HCl drop-wise along the side of the beaker.

iv. Close the desiccator and let stand overnight (16 hours).

v. Cover the petri plates with sterile lids.

2. Try Plant Preservative Mixture (Caisson Labs OR Plant Cell Technology)
