I am working on HPLC. I havent come across any literature mentioning the extinction co-efficient of Curcumin in Methanol, though there are papers on extinction coefficient of curcumin in ethanol.
The molar absorption coefficient, ε, of curcumin in MeOH/H2O (1:1 v/v) should be 49,370 M-1 cm-1; 55,000 or 54,954
M-1 cm-1 in EtOH; and 67,680 M-1 cm-1 in MeOH, respectively.
